We have an assortment of Japanese Dolls that range in age from 50 to 100 years old. The Hina Dolls (Miniature Dolls) are used to celebrate Girl’s Day on March 3rd, and the Samurai Dolls are used to celebrate Boy’s Day on May 5th.

This doll represents a high-ranking Samurai in full armor. Samurai Dolls are used in many Japanese households for display in the "tokonoma" alcove of a formal Japanese room during the Boys Day Festival, May 5th. During this festival, Samurai Dolls and miniature armor are displayed in the home with the intention of inspiring valor, bravery and courage in the family's male children.
